About
Brian Swingler
Brian Swingler is carrying forward the legacy of Swingler Construction into its fourth generation. The son of Steve and the late Cathy (Mayhood) Swingler, Brian was introduced to the construction trade at a young age, watching his grandfather and father manage the family-owned and operated contracting business. His adolescent summers were spent working alongside skilled and knowledgeable crew members, gaining hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for the craft.
After graduating from St. Anthony High School, Brian attended Lake Land College, where he earned a certificate in computer-aided drafting. He joined Swingler Construction full time in 1996, immersing himself in fieldwork to more thoroughly learn the business.
In 2008, Brian began working closely with his father, Steve, and his uncle, Dave Swingler, absorbing the wealth of knowledge they had gained from their father and uncles. Following Steve's retirement in 2018 and Dave's retirement in 2023, Brian took on a pivotal leadership role at Swingler Construction. He continues to uphold the company’s values of quality, integrity, and client satisfaction.
Today, Brian is the visionary who manages the overall operations of Swingler Construction, including project planning, bidding, and overseeing projects. Effectively managing employees and projects, Brian ensures that every project meets quality standards and specifications. He most enjoys collaborating with architects and clients to bring their visions to life.
Brian is married to Erin (Palmer), and they have three sons: Will, Luke, and Jack. Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, boating on Lake Sara, and golfing.
