Tony Hakman joined Swingler Construction in 2000, bringing extensive experience in sales and management. He was born and raised in Effingham, and attended St. Anthony High School, Lake Land College, and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Tony is responsible for estimating costs, negotiating procurements, and managing budgets to ensure efficient use of resources. He also oversees the supply chain, acquiring materials and services at optimal costs and timing, mitigating risks to ensure smooth project completion.

Tony helps to maintain smooth communication between architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. His commitment to Swingler Construction’s values and integrity is evident in his meticulous approach to every project.

Tony is married to Christy (Swingler), and together they have three children: Cara, Nina, and Alec. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and following Illini basketball and Cardinal baseball.
